Florida
Engineering and Design, Inc. (FEDINC) was established
in 1987 by Robert A. D’Aiello P.E., and created
for the purpose of providing consulting and design engineering
services generally to the Phosphate Industry. Florida
Engineering and Design, Inc. has its primary office located
in Polk County Florida, in the City of Lakeland. As the
firm grew and matured, other professional staff was added
to provide full range Engineering Services in a variety
of industries and public sectors. The core business strength
focuses on the Civil Engineering Discipline and it’s
various sub-disciplines. Working extensively with the
mining industry and the local government regulators has
created a significant backlog of experience and developed
a strong working relationship with the various governmental
regulators based on trust, mutual respect, and a history
of satisfactory performance.
The current principal, Robert A. D'Aiello, P.E is a
civil engineering graduate and has experience of over
twenty-five (25) years in serving the industrial, commercial
and public works sectors in the conduct of feasibility
studies and in the management and execution of the design
and construction of engineering projects. Mr. D’Aiello’s
experience represents recent past continuous service
to the phosphate fertilizer industry, local governments,
environmental regulators and many private industry clients.
Supporting Mr. D’Aiello above is a staff of Chemical,
Mechanical, Civil, Environmental Engineers and Scientists,
skilled in a variety of projects, and specialists in
their own right. Environmental permitting is a particular
strength. FEDINC has significant experience working with
Federal, State and Local agencies, pursuing any number
and type of permits, from simple construction and site
development permits to the more complex Environmental
Resource Permits.
