Conversion of FNG Citrus Plant, Polk County, Florida
Engineering Design and Management

The Clear Springs Distribution Center is a construction and demolition debris (C&D) project located in Bartow, Polk County, Florida.  FEDINC performed the design engineering for the conversion of an existing citrus juice concentrate processing plant. The renovated plant will be used to receive, package, cold store and ship berry fruits and other produce.  FEDINC provided the demolition plans, engineering design and management capabilities, and permitting services.

Design features of this renovation project included modification of existing foundations and design of new concrete foundations.  Structural steel design and details were developed for modification of existing structures and addition of new structures.  Additionally, FEDINC provided:
